Having grown up lighting the menorah each year, I’m pretty sure the one with wax candles is the Kid-Friendly Menorah. As long as there’s adult supervision, it’s totally safe. LED candles misses the point and is way too overprotective of the kids.

Oh, I totally agree that LED candles are kind of going too far… but at the same time, I once set the table on fire with a menorah, so…
But yes, there’s a definite “over-protective” streak that inhabits a lot of “kid-blogs.” I just wanted to highlight a Hannukah project in addition to a lot of the Christmas projects because hey man, kumbaya! (Also: I’m 1/2 Jewish. I guess that means I can celebrate 4 days of Hannukah.)
